Hi, I am Kim van Doorn and live with my husband and two daughters in Haarlem. I was born and raised in Heemstede and have never left the area. Because of this, I can tell you all the great spots of the city and its surroundings. With a mother from Heemstede and a father born in Amsterdam, I know both cities well.
My love for real estate started from an early age. My grandparents used to own a large mansion from the late 1800s. I enjoyed all the details like the ornaments on the ceiling, stained glass and en-suite doors. I got my real estate license in 2014 after working in inside sales at a real estate agency for 3 years.
After having a detour in finance, I still followed my heart and went back into real estate. I haven’t regretted this for a single day. Every day is different and dynamic. One day you are looking for someone’s dream home and the next you find yourself in the middle of an estate. Every client is different and that is precisely where our strength lies. Born on Vrijheidslaan in the Rivierenbuurt, I got to know the city early on. My family history is deeply rooted in Amsterdam. Not only my parents, but also their ancestors grew up here. As a child I was taken to the real classics: an ice cream at Van der Linde, a pickled meat sandwich at Van Dobben or Sal Meijer. But also a tour of the Red Light District and even the coffee shop – I had to see, smell and taste everything about the city.
This love for the city is at the heart of my work as a real estate agent. I know Amsterdam inside and out and use my expertise and energy to help my clients.
